Our rival - PFC Ludogorets Razgrad

Dinamo Tbilisi will hold the fourth friendly match on the camp in Turkey. Our team will compete with the multiple and current champion of Bulgaria - Ludogorets Razgrad. The match will start in Belek at 18:15 Tbilisi time.

Ludogorets is a club founded in 1945 that brought together five small clubs in Razgrad. Our rival plays home matches at Huvepharma Arena with the capacity of 10,500 spectators. Ludogorets club colors are green and white. In 1990, the club changed its name to FC Antibiotic, but in 2006, having never played in the major leagues, the club suspended to exist due to financial problems.

In 2010, the football club Razgrad 2000 became the legal successor of Ludogorets and was renamed. In 2011, the Eagles (nicknamed Ludogorets) won a trip to the Bulgarian Premier League and at the same time showed a historic result at the end of the season, winning the championship, the cup and the Super Cup. The same triumph Ludogorets offered to its fans in 2014.

In total, the Bulgarian club has won the national championship for ten times (2011/2012 - 2020/2021), twice the cup (2011/2012, 2013/2014) and six times (2012, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) the Bulgarian Super Cup. In the group stage of the Champions League, the team from Razgrad competed twice - in 2014/15 and 2016/17 seasons.

The Bulgarians got into the Europa League group 7 times. Last year, they took third place in the group with Italian Roma, Spanish Betis and Finnish Hick, after which they received a ticket to the knockout round of the Conference League, where they will meet Belgian Anderlecht on February 16 and 28.

Slovenian football specialist Ante Shimundza has been working as the head coach of Ludogorets since the beginning of 2022. His team is on the second place with 43 points gathered in 18 matches in the current championship of Bulgaria and is one point behind the leader CSKA Sofia.

Ludogorets has been on the camp in Turkey since January 9 and has already played three matches. Bulgarians lost 1-2 against German Hannover 96 on January 14. Kirill Despodov scored the goal. On January 19, Ludogorets played draw 1-1 with Polish Zaglebie. The goal was scored by Bernard Tekpeti. On January 25, our next opponent met our last rival Crvena Zvezda Belgrade and won 3-2. Igor Tiago (2) and Bernard Tekpeti scored goals for the Serbs.

Last year, we lost sparring against Ludogorets 0-1 on the camp in Turkey. Zoran Marusic scored the goal.
