Our rival - PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv

FC Dinamo Tbilisi will play the first test-match on camp against PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv tomorrow. 

The team was established in 1926 and has changed name for several times. At first it was called Sportclub. Since 1945 it was renamed into Sportclub Parchevich 45. Then it 1946 it changed name into Slavia, in 1947-Slavia Chengelov, in 1949-Slavia and in the same year our rival was called Torpedo. Since 1951 year it is called Locomotive. The club plays at Locomotive stadium that is for 13 000 spectators. Main colors of the team is white, black and red.

2003/2004 season was successful for Locomotive. It won Bulgarian national championship and Super Cup as well. In the current championship our rival is on the 8th place with 25 points gained in 20 matches.  

Bulgarians are on camp in Turkey for several days already. It played 3 friendly matches. On January 17 Locomotive defeated FC Maritsa Plovdiv with the score 4:0. On January 20 our rival defeated Oryahovitsa with the score 2:0 and on January 24- FC Chernomorets Balchik with the score 7:0. Bosnian football specialist Bruno Akrapović is the head coach of Locomotive since 2017 year.
