May 13, 1981 is the outstanding date in the history of Georgian sport and our club. Dinamo Tbilisi became the winner of one of the most prestigious tournaments of Europe. After the victory with Carl Zeiss 2:1 in Dusseldorf Dinamo Tbilisi became the owner of Cup Winners Cup. UEFA president Artemio Franchi awarded captain of our team Aleksandre Chivadze. 40 years have passed after the big victory day.
