Ramaz Shengelia stadium in Kutaisi hosted Georgian derby. FC Dinamo Tbilisi and FC Torpedo Kutaisi competed in Georgian Cup quarter final match. Heavy rain accompanied the play-off first leg match that influences the game. The match started without dangerous moments. On 12th minute Giorgi Gvelesiani scored with header although referee showed offside. Both teams started to gain priority in the first half. On 42nd minute Bachana Arabuli had real moment to score but Revaz Tevdoradze repelled the ball on corner. After that Giorgi Gvelesiani kicked with header but inexactly. In the next episode Aleksandre Iashvili couldn’t reach Bachana Arabuli’s kick. The same was repeated in the second half between Giorgi Guruli and Bachana Arabuli. The match continued in strained rhythm. On 78th minute Otar Kakabadze kicked from right wing and Giorgi Kvilitaia kicked exactly and scored. In 10 minutes Jaba Jighauri scored but offside was recorded. During the additional time Giorgi Kvilitaia had chance to score. He was alone in front of goalkeeper but kicked inexactly. Finally quarter final match finished with Dinamo’s victory 1:0. The second leg match will take place on December 16 at Dinamo Arena. Gia Geguchadze’s team will play the next match on December 6 in Tbilisi against FC Sioni Bolnisi.
