Today first leg of Davit Kipiani Georgian Cup 1/18 final match took place at Dinamo Arena. FC Dinamo Tbilisi hosted FC Kolkheti Poti and defeated the rival with the score 1:0.
The match started negatively for Dinamo. Libor Hrdlicka was injured in the beginning and he was substituted by Giorgi Begashvili. Before this our tam almost let curious goal, Rene Fereira saved his team. Dinamo started to attack and had chance to score but Vakho Tchanturishvili and Aleksandre Iashvili failed in the last moment. The guest team also had several dangerous attacks. In one episode Kolkheti players kicked from corner for several times in advance. On 33rd minute Giorgi Kvilitaia failed to score. In six minutes our team created a good combination. Aleksandre Iashvili attacked from left wing, passed to Jaba Jighauri who scored the only goal of the match. In two minutes Koka Sepiashvili repelled Otar Kiteishvili’s kick. O 53rd minute Otar Kiteishvili’s kick was repelled by door log after Otar Kakabadze’s pass. The match continued in low speed and without dangerous moments. On 83rd minute one more unplanned substitution was made in Dinamo. Injured Mate Tsintsadze was substituted by Lasha Parunashvili. Finally the match finished in favor of Dinamo 1:0. The second leg will take place in Lanchkhuti on October 28. Dinamo will play the next match on September 20 at 18:00. Our team will host FC Zugdidi in national championship V round.
