On May 6 FC Dinamo Tbilisi will compete with FC Rustavi in Erovnuli Liga 10th round match. The match at Mikheil Meskhi stadium will start at 18:30.
Our rival
FC Rustavi was established in 20015 year. Main colors of the club is red, white and black. In 2016 season FC Rustavi successfully finished Pirveli Liga and played in Erovnuli Liga-2 in 2017 year. Our rival finished the championship on the first place and moved to Erovnuli Liga. From 36 matches FC Rustavi won 26 matches, lost 5 and finished 5 matches with draw. The goal difference is 72/25. Before finishing restoration of Rustavi stadium the team will play home matches in Tbilisi at Davit Petriashvili stadium. After becoming champion of Erovnuli Liga-2 there were big changes in the club. Many new footballers joined the team.
Coach
Since January 2018 Russian football specialist Vladimer Gazaev is the head coach of the team. Under his leadership the team has 14 points gained in 9 matches and is on the 5th place in the table.
Before Dinamo
Rustavi started championship with the victory against Dinamo 2:1. After that it lost with FC Torpedo and FC Chikhura 0:1, FC Saburtalo 0:2, defeated FC Sioni Bolnsisi 2:0, FC Kolkheti Poti 2:0, played draw 2:2 against FC Dila Gori and 0:0 against FC Samtredia. FC Rustavi defeated FC Locomotive with the score 1:0 in the last round.
Head to head
FC Dinamo Tbilisi and FC Rustavi competed twice. The first match was held in September 2017. Georgian Cup ¼ final in Rustavi at Poladi stadium finished without goals. Our team won with penalties- 3:0. The match on March 5, 2018 at Dinamo Arena finished with the victory of FC Rustavi- 2:1. Budu Zivzivadze scored with penalty.
Referee and disqualified footballers
Giorgi Vadachkoria will be the referee of the match. I.Ukleba and A.Kokaia will be his assistants. Sh.Kukhilava will be the fourth official. Dinamo’s vice-captain Lasha Totadze will miss the match because of disqualification.
