Our rival
FC Zestafoni was established on June 18, 2004 and started to participate in XIV national championship from the same year. After that FC Zestafoni hasn’t left Umaghlesi Liga. Zestafoni plays home matches at Davit Abashidze stadium which is for 4 600 spectators. The main symbols of the club are mainly in blue and white. Zestafoni took the first trophy in 2007/2008 season when FC Zestafoni defeated FC Ameri Tbilisi with the score 2:1 in the final at Boris Paichadze national stadium and became the winners of Davit Kipiani Cup. In 2010/2011 season FC Zestafoni became Georgian champion and won the Super Cup in the same season. FC Zestafoni became champion of Georgia for the second and last time in 2011/2012.
