Our rival
Football club of Gori was established in 1949 year and has changed the title for several times. From 1961 year it is called Dila. FC Dila Gori plays home matches at Tengiz Burjanadze stadium which is for 8 300 spectators. The main symbols of the club are in light blue and purple. In 2008, after 18 years national championship had started, FC Dila Gori left Umaglesi Liga. After that the club played in Meore Liga during 2009/2010 season. Dila returned in Umaglesi Liga after 3 years pause. At first it gained license to play in Pirveli Liga and then in 2010/2011 season moved to Umaglesi Liga. The club which was on the third place in Pirveli Liga defeated FC Samtredia with the score 3:0 in play-off and returned to Umaglesi Liga. FC Dila Gori won the first trophy in 2011/2012 season when they defeated FC Zestafoni in the final match of Davit Kipiani Georgian Cup.
Coach and Dila
Giorgi Devdariani was appointed as the coach of FC Dila Gori after the end of last season. He was presented to the society on June 4. Giorgi Devdariani was the coach of Georgian national teams of different ages in different times. In 2002-2004 he worked in FC Tbilisi. In 2011 he became the coach of Dinamo Reserve team. From January till April in 2011 he was the coach of FC Dinamo Tbilisi.
Under his leadership FC Dila Gori played 11 (6 friendly and 5 official) matches from which the team won 8 matches and played draw for 3 times.

FC Dila Gori played 6 matches on preparation stage: Dila 6:0 UC BEST, Dila 5:0 Zooveti, Dila 2:0 Chikhura, Dila 3:3 Simurq (Azerbaijan), Dila 3:1 Sanliurfaspor (Turkey), Dila 1:1 Viitorul Constanta (Romania). Our rival held the last match in Bolnisi and defeated FC Sioni Bolnisi with the score 2:1 in the first round of XXV national championship. Grigol Dolidze scored two goals in this match. One goal was scored by Lasha Totadze from Bolnisi.
