Dinamo Tbilisi, which is at the Turkish camp, will hold its first sparring match against the leader of the Ukrainian Premier League, Dnipro 1. The match will start at 18.00 Tbilisi time in Lara.
FC Dnipro-1 was founded in 2017 year. The team plays its home matches at the 31,000-seat Dnipro Arena, and the club colors are blue and gold.
Dnipro has already recorded several outstanding results in its history. The team reached the semi-finals of the cup twice - in 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. In 2017/18, it won silver medals in the second league (the team had its debut season in the second league). In the 2018/19 season, Dnipro became the winner of the First League, and from the 2019/20 season, the Dnipro team competes in the Premier League and won bronze medals in the last tournament, which was followed by the Euro tour and finally the group stage of the Conference League. In the group, Ukrainians took second place after AZ Alkmaar, beating Cypriot Apollon and Lichtenstein's Vaduz. Dnipro will meet Cypriot AEK in the round of 16 of the tournament in February.
Dnipro-1 has been at the Turkish camp since January 8, and they will play the first friendly match of the year against Dinamo. Oleksandr Kucher, a 40-year-old Ukrainian football specialist, has been working as the head coach of the team since last July.
