Georgian U19 national team played two friendly matches in North Macedonia against the local team.
We remind you that 6 players from Dinamo Tbilisi were invited to the national team: Tengo Gobeshia, Nika Tsetskhladze, Gela Sadghobelashvili, Aleksandre Peikrishvili, Giorgi Tsetskhladze and Avto Mashava.
In the first match held in Skopje on August 12, Vasil Maisuradze's team beat the hosts 6-2. In the first half, Anes Melik responded to Sandro Avaliani's double and Nika Ninidze's goal with one goal. In the second half, Dinamo player Aleksandre Peikrishvili showed himself, Nikola Velichovski scored one ball, and Giorgi Gogsadze and Daniel Kvartskhava scored 2-6.
The second match also took place in Skopje on August 14. This time, the hosts won with a minimum score of 1-0. Dimitar Danev scored the goal.
Vasil Maisuradze's team continues to prepare for the qualification round of the European Championship. In the group stage, U19 team will face Cyprus, Moldova and Spain. Georgia will host the matches from November 15 to 21.

Northern Ireland will host the 2024 UEFA European U19 Championship from July 15 to July 28. The final of the tournament will be held at the main stadium of the country, in Belfast - Windsor Park.
