The third day at the Daraselia Cup

Today, the final matches of the group stage of the Daraselia Cup were held and the places were distributed in both groups.

In the first match, Monza faced Qarabag and defeated the opponent 3-0. To the goals of Nikolo Gamba and Tommaso Principe, Qarabag added one own goal. In the end, Dinamo took the first place in Group A, Monza took the second place, and Qarabag took the third place.

In the second match, Genoa met Basaksehir and the other Italian team also won with a big score of 3-0. Alessandro Pagliari, Nikolas Guchik and Joey Nuredini scored the goals in the goal of Istanbul. In Group B, the Turkish team finished third, and a draw was held to determine the first place, as Genoa and Sevilla tied 4-4. Their ball balance (3-1) and the number of yellow cards (2/2) turned out to be the same, therefore it was necessary to draw lots according to the tournament regulations to determine the occupied place. Sevilla took the first place, and Genoa took the second position.

The playoff stage will be held tomorrow. Monza will meet Basaksehir from 12:00 PM, and Genoa and Qarabag will face each other from 14:00 PM to advance to the semi-finals.
