Dinamo has finished two-week camp in Antalya. We asked the head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi Malkhaz Zhvania to sum up the camp.
Conditions
We had ideal conditions during the camp. The best hotel, training pitches and everything for perfect preparation period.
Preparation
You know there are many new footballers in the team. Many young players were promoted in the main team. Our main aim was to unite them under one goal. We moved to new playing system. Footballers must receive new ideas and work on them. We worked on several playing components. Footballers overcame the complications of the camp-sessions twice a day and matches in every third day. I think we have moved forward so I positively estimate the camp.
New players
Because of Giorgi Loria’s injury Daushvili had much time to play. These international matches were very productive for him. He has his advantages but still has to work much. Khidasheli and Gorgiashvili missed a long period of time and then joined the sessions so they were a bit tired but soon they will be in optimal form. I can say that Tsintsadze and Janelidze are ready. The same is with Modebadze although he wasn’t involved in sessions for 2-3 days. The main thing is these players overcame adaptation period. They suit the playing model we work on.
Test-matches
Podbeskidzie-We had the first test-match on the second day of the camp and the players were tired. The team wasn’t ready for this match. We made a little mistake in the beginning of the match and let goal. We tried to correct this mistake during the rest of the match.
Hajduk-We had concrete scheme how to play according to our tactic. More or less we could manage this but lost. Croatia starts the season before us and they were more prepared compared to us. They moved quicker and were more active on the pitch.
Mlada Boleslav-Footballers were given almost the same requirements in this match as well but we were more oriented on the result. In spite communication was better on the pitch compared to the last match we needed to understant each other better.
Chernomorets-The team played better and freely in this match. We scored but the match was stopped because of wellknown reasons.
Spartak Nalchik-This match wasn’t planned but after the wrecked match with Chernomorets we decided to give chance to all players to show themselves better. The young players started to play from the beginning for the first time and they were very nervous, but everyone must use the chance he is given. The main thing is to ackowledge the responsibility which is playing in Dinamo Tbilisi. Everyone must know what does Dinamo mean and where you play. I totally understand Dinamo fans. That evening was very difficult for us.
Nebitci (Balkan)-After the failure players were better mobilized. We showed our main goal in this match.
Summary
Everything went on wll in all. Our team shows progress in physical and tactical components. If we don’t take the match against Spartak into consideration the team started to play together. The positive and negative sides were revealed. We have much to do. We will continue preparation in Tbilisi. The team will rest for 2-3 days and we’ll gather on February 14. Perhaps we will have test-match on February 17 and start the new season in optimal squad.
