Dinamo reserve team played the first match of group stage on international tournament held in honor of Zaza Bendeliani who died in Abkhazian war. The first match of XXIII Bendela Cup appeared to be unsuccessful or our team.
Dinamo Tbilisi reserve team under the leadership of Kakhi Gogichaishvili competed with Wit Georgia playing in Umaghlesi Liga and was defeated with the score 0:4. The host team scored the first goal in the beginning of the match at Mtskheta Park. Elguja Lobzhanidze scored on the 3rd minute. On 51st minute penalty shot was appointed in favor of our rival. Giorgi Koripadze’s kick was saved by our keeper Levan Isiani but Levan Kukhaleishvili scored on addition. On 75th minute Erekle Khvistani scored the third goal. The final result of the match was recorded by Vano Kurdghelashvili on 79th minute.
Our team will play the second match of the tournament on January 26 against Algeti at Vitali Daraselia Dinamo Football Academy.
