Dinamo Tbilisi hosted the European Club Association (ECA) Youth Football Development Conference. The two-day event was held at the Dinamo Arena, and as part of various activities, the participants visited the Tbilisi club's training ground, academy and attended the training of the first team of Dinamo Tbilisi at the arena.
Along with representatives of Dinamo Tbilisi, Atletico Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Nottingham Forest, Vienna Rapid, Crvena Zvezda, Karabakh, Zimbru, Dinamo Batumi, Dinamo Minsk, Noa and Pyunik took part in the international conference. Representatives of the Georgian Football Federation were also involved in the work of the conference.
Within the framework of the event, the representatives of Dinamo Academy provided comprehensive information to the attending public about the work and structure of the Academy through presentations. Together with the representatives of the academy, Andres Carrasco, the head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi, presented his own presentation about youth football. In addition, the parties shared their experience in the development of youth football in their clubs.
Tbilisi Dinamo General Director Zaza Dolidze commented on the event:
"We hosted a very necessary event for our club. As you know, the development of youth football is one of the priority directions for Dinamo. Therefore, sharing European experience in this matter will greatly help our club in its development. I am glad that we hosted representatives of high-level European clubs and I would like to thank ECA for such an opportunity."
After the end of the conference, the football development manager of the European Club Association Puia Yagunia evaluated the visit to Tbilisi:
"First of all, many thanks to FC Dinamo Tbilisi for hosting. It is very pleasant and a great honor for us to visit such club as Dinamo. Dinamo sets a great example for the rest of Europe with its vision to have the best academy in Eastern Europe to train players."
