Dinamo U9 team finished Ateitis Cup in Batumi with gold medals.
Dinamo was in Batumi with two teams. In the group stage, the Academy team lost 0-1 against Serval, drew 0-0 with Inter and defeated Dinamo Batumi-2 9-0. In the quarter-finals, Dinamo defeated Gorda of Ruthavi 4-0, and in the semi-finals they defeated Locomotive 2-0. In the group stage, Dinamo school team lost to Rustavi 1-2, beat Batumi Dolphins 3-0 and beat Batus Batumi 4-0. In the quarter-finals, Dinamo beat Dinamo Batumi 2-1, and in the semi-final, they lost the match 2-3 to FC Kolkheti Poti in penalties.
In the match for the third place, Dinamo 2 played 1-1 with Locomotive and lost 2-3 in the penalties after the match. In the final our team competed with FC Kolkheti Poti and defeated the rival with the score 4-1 and won the Ateitis Cup.
Ivane Jinikashvili from Dinamo was named as the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Jaba Kankava from Dinamo became the best player of the tournament.
The next tournament will be held in Batumi between U13 teams from September 29 to October 2.
