Today forward of Dinamo Tbilisi Givi Nodia would turn 74 years old. He played in our club in 1967-1975 years. In 210 matches he scored 75 goals. Givi Nodia is the owner of Soviet championship bronze medal in 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1972. He was named among the best 33 players for 5 times. In 1970 he scored 17 goals and became bombardier of the season. Nodia is the member of Fedotov club with 113 goals. In 1972 he became the vice-champion of European championship. In 1970 he participated in world championship. In 1966 he became champion of Europe among the youth. Nodia played 21 matches in Soviet team and scored 5 goals. In 1993, 1994, 2001, 2002 and 2003 he was the head coach of our team. Givi Nodia died on April 7, 2005
