In 1912 year one of the outstanding footballers of Dinamo Tbilisi Grigol Gagua was born. He played in Dinamo in 1936-1950. Gagua played 153 matches in Soviet championship and scored 2 goals. He is the vice-champion of 1939 and 1940 years. In 1946 and 1947 years Gagua won the bronze medal. In 1948 he became the honorable master of sports. In 1937 year he played against Basque national team. After the successful footballer career he worked as a coach. Grigol Gagua died in 2002.
