Dinamo is in semi-final

Today the second leg of Davit Kipiani Georgian Cup quarter final match was held at Dinamo Arena. Dinamo Tbilisi hosted FC Dila Gori and defeated the rival with the score-1:0 in a strained match.

The first leg that took place on February 18 in Gori finished with draw-0:0. The host team started the match actively. It’s worth mentioning that Saba Lobzhanidze who was injured in the first leg match played today. Unfortunately Dinamo captain Nika Chanturia, Giorgi Papunashvili, Lasha Shergelashvili were absent because of injuries and Lasha Parunashvili was disqualified.

On 11th minute Nika Kvekveskiri’s kick was repelled by Hrdlicka. On 22nd minute Dinamo attacked, Manuel played well and gave a pass to Vakhtang Tchanturishvili. After that Otar Kakabadze received the ball and scored-1:0. The first half finished without other moments.

The second half started with positional game. On 61st minute Otar Kiteishvili kicked after Giorgi Janelidze’s pass but failed. On 69th minute Saba Lobzhanidze kicked and Giorgi Gvelesiani received the ball but bar of our rival team repelled the ball. Dila players created several attacks during the last minutes. Gorelishvili kicked but couldn’t score. Finally Kakha Gogichaishvili’s team won the match with the score 1:0 and moved to Georgian Cup semi-final.
