FC Dinamo Tbilisi and SV Werder Bremen reached transfer agreement according to which young footballer of Dinamo Tbilisi Giorgi Papunashvili will play in Werder from the new season. Transfer contract includes payment lease with the right of redeeming. Besides Bundesliga team there were other offers from different countries and the club chose the best and the most qualified variant for the player and the team.
At the moment veteran player Viktor Skrypnyk is the head coach of a team that became champion of Germany for 4 times. Ukrainian specialist works in the club since 2004 and in 2014 he became the head coach. Giorgi Papunashvili is in Dinamo Tbilisi since 2011. For the first time in the first team he played on November 30, 2013 against FC Tskhinvali at Mikheil Meskhi stadium. In 2013-15 years Dinamo’s number 10 footballer played 47 matches and scored 20 goals. The agreement was reached as a result of quite interesting and close cooperation between these teams that gives reason to be sure that such kind of cooperation will continue in the future not only on the level of the first team but on the academies as well.
