Our rival
The history of FC Zugdidi starts in 20th century and after that several teams played with the name of this city. From 1990 the city of Zugdidi at first was represented in independent national championship by FC Odishi and after that by FC Dinamo. After the Civil War in Georgia Zugdidi’s team left national championship. In 2007/2008 season Fc Mglebi Zugdidi returned in Umaglesi Liga. In 2008 after the merge of FC Mglebi and FC Baia from Pirveli Liga Zugdidi was represented by the new team FC Baia. In 2012 our rival changed the name again and nowadays it plays under the name of FC Zugdidi.
