Dinamo vs Tskhinvali – Before the match

FC Dinamo Tbilisi will compete with FC Tskhinvali in XXVII national championship IX round match. On October 23 the match will start at 18:00 at Dinamo Arena. Official web-page of our team will offer text and video live of the match.

Our rival

Tskhinvali football club which was established in 1936 changed the name for several times during its history. It changed the name for several times. FC Tskhinvali called as FC Spartak participated in Soviet championship and Soviet Cup. The club had its best season in 1987 when FC Spartak won Soviet Cup-the match against FC Mertskhali Ozurgeti finished with the score 1:0. At first Tskhinvali football club participated under the name of Liakhvi in Georgian national championship (in 1990–2003 years). In 2003-2007 it changed the name and became FC Tskhinvali. From 2007 the club was renamed in FC Spartak again. 2009-2010 seasons were the best for FC Spartak Tskhinvali in Georgian championship. The club took the fifth place in the table and played in ½ final match of Davit Kipiani Cup.

Because of situation in Samachablo the club changed the place for home matches and played in Gori instead of Tskhinvali, although in the new season the team plays home matches of Umaghlesi Liga in Tbilisi at Mikheil Meskhi stadium.


Coach and Tskhinvali

From November 2013 Kakhi Kacharava is the head coach of FC Tskhinvali. The team finished the last season on the fourth position with 53 points (The best result in club’s history). In the current season our rival is on the fifth position with 16 points after 8 rounds.

Before Dinamo…

FC Tskhinvali started the championship with the loss against FC Saburtalo 1:2. After that were victories with FC Merani Martvili 3:2 and FC Zugdidi 5:1, losses with FC Dila 3:0 and FC Shukura Kobuleti 1:3 in Georgian Cup 1/8 final first leg. Then our rival defeated FC Dinamo Batumi 3:2, FC Torpedo Kutaisi 3:1 and FC Kolkheti Poti 5:1. The last match before Dinamo was with FC Chikhura Sachkhere 1:1.

Dinamo vs Tskhinvali - Head to head

On October 23 FC Dinamo Tbilisi will compete with FC Tskhinvali in national championship IX round match at Dinamo Arena. The match will start at 18:00.

Dinamo Tbilisi has always had priority in 19 played matches. From them our team has won 13 matches, lost 2 and 4 matches ended in draw. The goal difference is 45/15 in favor of Dinamo.

The first match Dinamo lost was on April 18, 2010 in XXI national championship XXX round when our team was defeated with the score 2:1. Our team has defeated FC Tskhinvali with big score for several times. On September 15, 2007 in XIX championship V round and on November 29, 2008 in XX championship XIII round Dinamo VS FC Tskhinvali ended with the score 3:0. On August 16, 2009 in XXI championship I round Dinamo defeated FC Tskhinvali with the score 5:0. On October 24, 2014 our team won the match with the score 6:1 at Dinamo Arena. Giorgi Papunashvili performed hattrick. Besides him Lasha Parunashvili, Irakli Dzaria and Mate Tsintsadze also scored.

The last match between these teams took place on April 24 when FC Tskhinvali won with the score 4:1. Mate Tsintsadze scored the only goal from Dinamo.

Lasha Silagava will judge Umaghlesi Liga IX round match between Dinamo Tbilisi and FC Tskhinvali which will take place at Dinamo Arena. D.Gabisonia and L.Todria will be his assistants. G.Avazashvili will be the fourth official.

The last match Lasha Silagava judged took place on October 18 when FC Dila Gori defeated FC Lanchkhuti Guria with the score 5:0 in national championship. Silagava booked footballers for 6 times.

The last match Lasha Silagava judged with the participation of our team took place on October 3, 2015 when our team competed with FC Dinamo Batumi. In the match that finished with the victory of Dinamo 1:0 Silagava  didn’t show yellow cards at all.
