Tomorrow on December 2 Ramaz Shengelia stadium in Kutaisi will host Georgian Cup quarter final first leg match. Local team Torpedo will host current owner of Georgian Cup FC Dinamo Tbilisi. These teams have competed on Georgian Cup for 7 times. For the first time it was on April 29, 1992. Semi-final match finished with the victory of our team 2:0. Gela Inalishvili and Kakha Kacharava scored. The second leg match took place in Kutaisi and finished with draw 1:1. Shota Arveladze scored. Next year these teams competed in semi-final again. Dinamo won with the score 3:0 on May 6 with Shota Arveladze’s hat trick. On May 14 Torpedo won with the score 3:1 in the second leg. Archil Arveladze performed double and Shota Arveladze scored once. In 2000 both semi-final matches finished with draw - 1:1in Tbilisi on May 2 (Valter Guchua scored) and 0:0 in Kutaisi on May 9. The last derby took place on May 26, 2004. Georgian Cup final that took place at Mikheil Meskhi stadium finished with the victory of our team 2:1. Shota Kashia and Levan Silagadze scored. Gia Geguchadze trained Dinamo at that time.
