Today Chele Arena in Kobuleti hosted Georgian national championship last round match of the first stage. FC Shukura hosted FC Dinamo Tbilisi. Before the match our team was on the first place and our rival on the 8th.
The weather was sunny and both teams started the match actively. In the middle of the first half Giorgi Guruli and Grigol Dolidze created dangerous moments. In the next episode Lasha Chaladze kicked inexactly. After several minutes Aleksandre Iashvili kicked in penalty area although inexactly. On 33rd minute our team created fast attack and scored. Jaba Jighauri attacked, passed to Giorgi Kvilitaia who scored the twelfth goal in the championship. In the end of the first half Guruli had chance to benefit from the mistake of Shukura’s defenders but failed.
After 10 minutes have passed from the beginning of the second half door log repelled Giorgi Kvilitaia’s kick. In the next attack Kvilitaia attacked again but Azamat Jioev saved his team. The log saved Shukura on 68th minute as well when Saba Lobzhanidze tried to score with header. On 71st minute the host team equalized the score. Giorgi Chelebadze scored 1:1. Before the end of the match Chelebadze and Kvilitaia played well although goalkeepers saved their teams. Giorgi Guruli received Saba Lobzhanidze’s kick from corner and scored with header. On the last minute Jaba Jigahauri received the ball from Rene, kicked and recorded the final result of the match. After this victory our team has 40 points and finished the first stage on the first place.
Dinamo will play the next match in Tbilisi. Our team will compete with FC Torpedo in Georgian Cup quarter final second leg match.
