Today Davit Abashidze stadium in Zestafoni hosted national championship 16th round match. FC Sapovnela Terjola and FC Dinamo Tbilisi competed with each other. Both teams started the match heavily and tried to gain priority in the center. Both teams created dangerous moments. In the middle of the first half Libor Hrdlicka saved his team from Jaba Dvali. On the last minute Somkhishvili repelled Aleksandre Iashvili’s kick. Before that Nikoloz Gelashvili had chance to score with header but was a bit inexact.
The second half was quite different. Dinamo gained game priority and created many dangerous attacks. On 67th minute Tengiz Chikviladze scored from penalty area and Sapovnela went forward 1:0. After that Giorgi Kvilitaia entered the field who equalized the score on 69th minute as a result of mistake of Sapovnela’s defenders. During additional time Juraj Jarabek’s team kicked penalty. Aleksandre Iashvili kicked exactly and recorded the final result of the match 1:2.
FC Dinamo Tbilisi will play 17th round match on February 23 at Dinamo Arena against FC Locomotive.
