NodarAkhalkatsi 9th international children’s festival has finished. Teams staffed with footballers born in 2005, 2006 and 2007 participated in the tournament. Dinamo Tbilisi academy hosted the final match between footballers born in 2007. The other two matches took place at MikheilMeskhi stadium. Dinamo academy U8 team with the leadership of Zaza Eliava started tournament with victory against FC Dila Gori 2:0. After that was victory with champion 4:0 and 5:1 against Saburtalo School. Dinamo defeated FC Shavnabada 7:1 in quarter final and FC Bendela 2:0 in semi-final. In the final our team lost with FC Saburtalo 1:2. Khutsishvili scored. Dinamo player Saba Tsulaia became the best forward in this age category.
In the next age category (footballers born in 2006) Dinamo U9 team defeated FC MorkinaliSaburtalo in group stage 8:0, FC GantiadiKaspi 4:1, FC Saburtalo School 2:0. In quarter final our team defeated FC Locomotive Tbilisi 4:1, FC Barsi Vladikavkaz 2:0 in semi-final and lost with FC Saburtalo 2:0 in the final. Dinamo player Luka Peikrishvili became the best forward in this age category.
Finally the final between U10 teams was held between FC Dinamo and FC IveriaKhashuri. Before that our team defeated FC Locomotive 4:0 in group stage and FC Dinamo Batumi 6:0. In the third match Dinamo defeated FC Rani Lagodekhi with the score 10:0. In quarter final our team defeated FC Saburtalo 3:0, Chkaduashi in semi-final 2:1. The final was very interesting. At first FC Iveria scored. Dinamo was winning with Kharauli’s and Tsertsvadze’s goals, although Khashuri footballers equalized the score on the last minute of the match. Finally OtarGagnidze’s team won with penalties and received gold medals. AlekoGobedashvili became the best goalkeeper and Saba Makhatadze was named as the best footballer of the tournament.
