FC Dinamo Tbilisi will the first sparring match in Austria. Our team will compete with Legia Warsaw. The match will start at 19:30 Tbilisi time.
The club was founded in 1920 and this year it was 100th jubilee. Legia plays its games at Pepsi Arena that is for 31 000 spectators. The main colors of the club is white, black and green. Our rival became champion of Poland for 12 times, won the cup for 18 times and Super Cup for 4 times. Once is won Polish League Cup. In 1970 Legia played in Europa Champions Cup semi-final. Winning the Polish Cup for the 9th time in the 1989–90 season Legia subsequently played in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. In the current season Legia finished Ekstraklasa on the first place.
In the beginning of the month Albanian football specialist BesnikHasi became the head coach of Legia. Before that BesnikHasi managed R.S.C. Anderlecht during 8 years.
FC Dinamo Tbilisi and Legia Warsaw competed on Euro Arena in 1982 year. On March 3 our team won Cup Winners’ Cup in Warsaw – 1:0. The second leg match on March 17 finished with the same score in favor of Dinamo at Dinamo Arena.
