Legendary captain of Dinamo Tbilisi, head of the team and head coach, player of Georgian and Transcaucasia national teams- Boris Paichadze was born 102 years ago. For the first time he played in Dinamo Tbilisi in 1936. From 1940 he became captain of our team and led it for 10 years. In 181 matches of Soviet championship (1936-51) he scored 98 goals. In 40 matches of Soviet Cup Paichadze scored 25 goals. He scored 5 goals in 7 international matches. In 1939 and 1940 he became vice champion of Soviet championship. Boris Paichadze is the prizeman of 1936, 1946, 1947 and 1950 years. He became the finalist of Soviet Cup for three times in 1936, 1937 and 1946. He has never been sent off from the pitch because of roughness. He died on October 9, 1990. From 1991 the biggest stadium in Georgia, Dinamo Arena is named after the honorable master of sports and owner of Vakhtang Gorgasali order Boris Paichadze.
