The third day of the tournament started with the match between Gabala SC and KAA Gent. Belgian team was already in semi-final and Gabala SC played for prestige. Although it defeated KAA Gent with the score 1:0 with Isazada’s goal. KAA Gent will compete with AZ Alkmaar on April 24 at 16:00. Gabala SC gained three points and is on the last place in the group. It will play play-off against GNK Dinamo Zagreb for the fifth place at 14:00.

In the second match FC Dinamo Tbilisi competed with Inter Milan. The match decided which team would take the first place in the group. In case of draw our team would move to semi-final. This match appeared to be one of the most interesting matches of the tournament. Both teams struggled during 70 minutes. On 32nd minute Vergani kicked penalty and scored the only goal of the match. In the end of the first half Dinamo had two chances to score. Kvaratskhelia and Davitashvili missed the target. Referee showed many yellow cards in the second match. Our keeper repelled Brigati’s kick on corner. Dinamo attacked, Kharshiladze kicked header but door log repelled the ball. Kvaratskhelia also missed the target. Davitashvili and Moistsrapishvili also played well. Finally Inter won with minimal score 1:0 and on April 24 it will compete with FC Dynamo Kyiv in semi-final at 18:00. Our team will play play-off against Trabzonspor for the fifth place at 12:00.

The third match of the day was held between AZ Alkmaar and GNK Dinamo Zagreb and finished with the victory of last year champion- 2:0. Both teams played well but AZ Alkmaar was more exact and scored two goals in the first half. Jansen and Van der-Heiden scored. The second half was as interesting as the first one. Both teams attacked and had chance to score but nothing has changed and AZ Alkmaar won with the score 2:0. Dutch team will compete with KAA Gent on April 24 at 16:00 in semi-final. GNK Dinamo Zagreb will play play-off against Gabala SC for the fifth place at 14:00.

FC Dynamo Kyiv competed with Trabzonspor in the last match of group stage and defeated the rival with the score 2:0. It moved to semi-final. Ukrainian team played actively and it could score on 25th minute although Nadolskyi failed to score penalty. But in six minutes Nadolskyi scored and Dynamo won the first half with the score 1:0. In the second half Derogan scored the second goal. On April 24 Dynamo Kyiv will play semi-final against Inter Milan at 18:00. At 12:00 Trabzonspor will compete with our team.
