On the 3rd and 4th of March 2014, 151 European clubs of 52 national associations gathered in Spain, Barcelona for the 12th ECA General Assembly. Sports manager Irakli Vashakidze was invited at the assembly from Dinamo Tbilisi.
ECA chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino made speeches on the session which was attended by representatives of UEFA. ECA presented annual report about its activities and future plans. Establishment of UEFA Youth League (U15 and U17) is on the agenda. Financial issues of Qatar 2022 World Cup were also discussed.
The issue of incomes and outcomes of clubs on European tournaments is also urgent.
Participants also discussed the issue of giving chance to clubs of division 4 to play more matches on European tournaments.
