Representative of Dinamo’s golden generation Ilia Datunashvili would turn 86 years old today. Hero of the final match in Tashkent played in Dinamo in 1959-1968. He scored 249 goals in 60 matches. He became champion of Soviet championship in 1964 and prize man in 1962 and 1967. In the final match in Tashkent he scored two goals. He was named among 33 best players twice in 1964 and 1966 years. He became bombardier of 1966 season with 20 goals. On September 22, 1966 he scored 5 goals in 23 minutes against Ararat Yerevan.
Ilia Datunashvili died on February 11, 2022.
