President’s Cup finished in Kazakhstan. Georgian and Russian U17 teams competed in the final. The final match appeared to be very tough. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the score. Dinamo midfielder deceived several footballers in defense and scored. In 20 minutes Vorotnikov equalized the score. No more goals were scored and the whole match was very interesting. After finishing the match penalties were appointed according to the regalement of the tournament. Russian team used all the 5 kicks and scored all penalties. Giorgi Nemsadze’s team scored 4 penalties. Shota Nonikashvili, Giorgi Shalikashvili, Zuka Davitashvili (he kicked in Panenka style) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia kicked penalties. Giorgi Guliashvili’s penalty kick was repelled by door log. Finally Young crusaders won silver medals. Dinamo footballers Luka Kharshiladze, Irakli Azarov, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Zuka Davitashvili and Anzor Mekvabishvili played the final. Zuka Davitashvili became bombardier of the tournament and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was named as the best footballer.
