16th International Festival named after Nodar Akhalkatsi, hosted by Dinamo Academy, ended today.
The tournament was traditionally held among football players aged 9, 10 and 11 years and ended with Dinamo winning in two age groups.
U9 Dinamo, led by Vakhtang Chagelishvili, defeated Sturm 4-0 in the festival final. Dinamo School's team won bronze medals in the same age group, 2-2 (14-13 pens) against Bridge.
Dinamo U10 defeated FC Locomotive 7-2, and Nikolz Jishkariani's team finished the tournament with gold medals.
Levan Bojgua's team took third place among U11 teams. Dinamo defeated Inter 2-0.
Dinamo players also won individual prizes after the festival ended.
Zuka Tediashvili was named the best defender of the U9 tournament, and Mate Varamishvili was named the best player of the festival.
Andria Tskvitaia was named the best striker of U10, and Giorgi Zekalashvili was recognized as the best football player of the festival.
Andria Akhalaia won the Best Defender award in the U11 category.
