On October 18-23 regional tournament - Petre Zambakhidze Cup was held in Poti among footballers born in 2005 year. 8 teams from Samegrelo, Guria and Adjara participated in the tournament.
Martvili Football School U13 team participated in the tournament (coach Ushangi Rukhaia). In the group our team defeated FC Kolkheti Khobi 2:1. FC Senaki Egrisi-2:1 and FC Kolkheti Poti 2 - 6:0. In the semi final our team defeated FC Guria Lanchkhuti with penalties and competed with FC Kolkheti Khobi in the final, that finished with Dinamo’s victory 3:1. Thus, FC Dinamo Martvili became the first winner of Petre Zambakhidze Cup.
Together with medals and cups, Petre Zambakhidze’s family awarded the champion with financial prize-GEL 2000. Lasha Gadelia became the best footballer of the tournament, Luka Gulordava was named as the best midfielder and Gia Nadareishvili was named as bombardier of the tournament with 6 goals.
