Dinamo Tbilisi, which is in Turkey, will hold its first sparring match against Bohemians Praha 1905. The match will start at 17.00 Tbilisi time in Side.
Football club Bohemians was founded in 1905. The team originally went by the name of Vršovice (a district of Prague), and the kangaroo (the club's nickname) logo appeared after the Bohemians toured Australia in 1927. The locals presented the guests with two kangaroos, which they placed in the Prague zoo.
Bohemians play their home matches at the 5,000-capacity Dolicek Stadium. The club colors are green and white.
Until 1973, Bohemians played between the first (highest) and second leagues of Czechoslovakia. And then the era of success came to the club. In the 1982-83 season, the Prague team won the Czechoslovak championship and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup. In the mid-2000s, the club was relegated to the Czech third league. After several years of traveling between the leagues, the Kangaroos returned to the Czech First League in 2013.
Bohemians have been at the Turkish camp since January 25 and the first test match was on January 27 against African Galaxy, which they won 4-3. Yaroslav Vesel, a 46-year-old local football specialist, has been working as the head coach of the team since last March.
