Our rival - Dynamo Kyiv

Dinamo Tbilisi will play the fourth test match at the Turkish camp. Our team will compete with Dynamo Kyiv, one of the biggest teams in Eastern European football and the most successful Ukrainian team. The match will be held in Belek and will start at 18.00 Tbilisi time.

Dynamo Kyiv was founded in 1927. The club colors of Kyiv are blue and white. Dynamo plays its home matches at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv, which has a capacity of 70,000 spectators. Dynamo Kyiv is the most titled club of the post-Soviet countries and is currently the only team in tandem with our team that has never left the high league. After 14 matches in the current Ukrainian championship, the Kyiv team is on fifth place in the standings with 28 points, although they have played three games less than the teams in front of them.

Dynamo Kyiv won the USSR championship for 13 times (a record), became vice champion for 11 times and took three bronze medals. The blue-whites have lifted the Crystal Cup for 9 times and the USSR Super Cup for three times. Dynamo Ukraine is the record holder with 16 championship titles and 13 national cup wins. Kyiv team won the Ukrainian Super Cup for 9 times. On the international arena, our future rival won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice in 1975 and 1986. In 1975, Dynamo Kyiv also won the UEFA Super Cup, and won the CIS Cup for four times. As for the Champions League, Dinamo reached the semi-finals of this tournament three times in 1977, 1987 and 1999. In 2009, it also competed in the Europa League at the same stage.

Dinamo Kyiv has been at the Turkish camp since January 21 and played friendly matches as well. On January 26, Kyiv lost 0-2 against Balkan, on January 29 they lost 1-3 against Legia, and the next day they beat Pakhtakor 5-1. On February 2, they lost to Bulgarian Levski with a minimum score of 0-1, on February 8, they beat Lievaya 5-2, and on February 9, they played draw with Shkendia 1-1. On February 12, the Kyiv team sparred with Riga (Riga Football School) and defeated the Latvian team 1-0.
