On April 13, Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Kutaisi hosted another Georgian derby. The traditional confrontation between Torpedo and Dinamo was traditionally tense and interesting.
After several two-way attacks, the hosts took a solid lead midway through the half. Torpedo scored two goals in a four-minute period and the visitors' situation became more difficult. First, Solomon Kverkvelia took advantage of the moment and headed the ball accurately, and then Giorgi Kokhreidze received a sudden "gift" and the score became 2-0. Mikheil Makatsaria saved the capital team from a third goal during dditional time of the half, when he repelled Bjorn Jonsen’s kick from the penalty spot. In the second half, Dinamo tried hard, but failed to score.
Dinamo will play their next match at Dinamo Arena on April 17 against FC Dila Gori.
