Phiruz Kanteladze died at the age of 70. He played in Dinamo Tbilisi in 1967-1979. In 227 matches he scored 3 goals. He is the champion of 1978 Soviet championship, took the second place in 1977 and won the bronze medal twice in 1976 (spring-autumn). Phiruz Kanteladze is the winner of Soviet championship in 1976 and 1979 years. In 1967 he won Europe’s Youth Championship. Phiruz Kanteladze was named among the best 33 footballers twice.
