The Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga 2020 season will resume on June 25. A week before the resumption of the championship, the players of all 10 teams of the Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga will be tested. The training process will take place in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. Until the matches are renewed, the players will be tested again.
Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga will be renewed in a modified format, which means holding 2 rounds instead of 4 rounds of the championship. So, in addition to the two rounds held in March, the clubs participating in Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga will play 16 rounds after the renewal of the season. The matches will be held at the initial stage without spectators. All information related to the renewal of the season will be notified to all clubs participating in Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga.
The season will be renewed on the basis of the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs of Georgia. This provides for all the necessary procedures necessary to create a safe environment for the health of all people involved in the National League.
At the initial stage, the renewal of the season applies only to Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga. The decision on the renewal of other leagues and cups of the Georgian National Championship will be announced later.

According to the commitments, all players of the clubs participating in the Erovnuli Liga will be tested from next week. At the initial stage, the matches will be held without fans. We have taken this factor into account and that is why before the fans return to the stadium, the matches will be rescheduled for a few days. In parallel, the Football Federation will take care of the renewal of other leagues of the Georgian National Championship.
According to the decision of the Georgian Football Federation, all clubs of Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga, Erovnuli Liga 2, Erovnuli Liga 3 and Liga 4 have been exempted from membership fees. Clubs will be able to use this amount to fulfill the recommendations that are necessary in the current situation. In addition, the Football Federation covers all the costs required for testing.
Due to the long pause, the format of all the leagues of the Georgian National Championship will be changed. As of today, the Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga, the Crystalbet Erovnuli Liga 2 and the Liga 3 will be held in two rounds instead of four. Liga 4, where the draw was planned in two rounds, will remain one round. Along with the format change, I can confirm that the Georgian Davit Kipiani Cup will continue. The Executive Committee of the Georgian Football Federation has been informed about all the above-mentioned changes. "
