After the break in national championship, Erovnuli Liga fifth round match was held at Dinamo Arena, in which Dinamo hosted Samtredia. Before the start of the match, the players organized a corridor of honor for our team's doctor Davit Kharabadze and goalkeeper Giorgi Loria and once again congratulated them on getting a ticket to Euro 2024.
The match was played with Dinamo's advantage, and in the first half, several dangerous moments were created at the guests' goal, but to no avail. Vakho Salia also scored a goal, which was canceled by the referee due to offside. At the start of the second half, Omran Haidar took advantage of the home team's mistake and actually used the first scoring opportunity. Dinamo players continued their attacks, and on the 64th minute, Giorgi Moistsrapishvili, who returned to the capital team, appeared on the field, adding intensity to the attacks. Davit Gotsiridze, who entered as a substitute, also scored a goal, but this shot was not counted either. Towards the end of the match, another attack, Vakho Salia's pass and our team's Lithuanian midfielder Danielis Romanovskis scored his debut goal in Dinamo 1-1. In the time compensated by the referee, Tbilisi could still score, but Nika Ugrekhelidze's header was blocked by the visitors' goalkeeper.
Andres Carrasco's team will hold the next match on April 3 aganst FC Dila Gori.
