Today is one of the important dates in the history of Georgian basketball. 58 years have passed after the great victory of Georgian basketball team. On June 29, 1962 Dinamo defeated Real Madrid in FIBA European Championship Cup and won the most prestigious European trophy.
Before the final our team defeated Steaua Bucharest (77:76, 82:77), defeated Darüşşafaka in quarter final (80:67, 84:49), CSKA Moscow in semi-final (75:71, 77:66).
