Our rival
The initial name of football club founded in Lanchkhuti in 1926 was Kim. The club was abolished during World War II and in 1952 FC Kolmeurne appeared instead of FC Kim. From 1960 the club exists with the current name. FC Guria reached big success in 1961. They became the first team in the republic and repeated this success in 1966 and 1971 years. The club won Georgian cup in 1965, 1966 and 1971. FC Guria succeeded on Shota Shavgulidze’s Cup in 1977. FC Guria appeared in Soviet championship division B in 1967 for the first time and became a serious obstacle for other teams. After taking the first place in division B in 1986 FC Guria moved to upper division. After 1990 FC Guria became the first team in independent Georgian football to win Georgian Cup. FC Guria Lanchkhuti successfully played in Umaghlesi Liga till 1999 but in this year it fell to Pirveli Liga. After taking the first place in Pirveli Liga group A the club moved to Umaghlesi Liga again after a long pause.

After the first stage Davit Makharadze officially became the coach of FC Guria. Under his leadership the team played 9 matches from which it won w matches and lost 7.
Before Dinamo…
After the winter pause Guria played 4 matches. Our rival defeated Dila Gori-3:1, Chikhura 2:0 and lost against Spartak Tskhinvali 0:1 and Zugdidi 0:2. After that Guria lost 5 matches in turn: 0:3 with Dinamo, 0:1 with Zestafoni, 1:2 with sioni, 1:3 with Metalurgi and 0:3 with Chikhura.

The last match Beuklishvili judged with the participation of our team took place on April 4 in Ivantsminda when Dinamo played draw with Chikhura-1:1. Referee booked the players twice
