Dinamo Tbilisi visited Batumi in the seventh round of Erovnuli Liga and faced the local Dinamo in the central match of the tour.
The match was traditionally tense and interesting. Both teams tried to gain advantage and open the score. The capital city team attacked more aggressively, although after several unsuccessful attempts, the hosts ended the first aggressive attack with a goal. Giorgi Loria deflected a strong shot by Honore Gomis, and the same Gomis took the ball and scored. Towards the end of the half, young Vakho Salia got injured and had to leave the field. Dominic Simon's shot was blocked by Roin Kvaskhvadze, and before that door log saved our team. From the beginning of the second half, Dinamo Tbilisi went into an active attack and again failed to use several favorable moments. The log deflected the ball, Nika Ugrekhelidze's shot from the goal was taken out by the defender, Oscar Santis could not use a one-on-one entry and hit the ball to the goalkeeper. Instead, the counterattack of Batumi team, Levan Kutalia goes face-to-face and the score became 2-0. On the 70th minute of the match, Tornike Okriashvili, a newcomer to our team, appeared on the field instead of Vasilios Gordeziani. The capital city's attack became more intense, the ball once again hit the goal post of the Batumi team, and Nika Sikharulashvili's header was deflected by the post. In the end, nothing changed and our team lost the match.
