Legendary footballer of Dinamo Tbilisi Gaioz Jejelava was born in 1915. He played in our club in 1937-1948. In 157 matches he scored 73 goals. He became vice-champion of Soviet Championship for two times in 1939 and 1940 and won bronze medal in 1946 and 1947. In 1938 he appeared among 55 best players. Gaioz Jejelava played in Soviet and Georgian teams. He is the honorable master of sports. In 1956-57 years he worked in Dinamo Tbilisi as a coach. Gaioz Jejelava died on March 16 in 2005.
