PFC Ludogorets was established in 1945 year. It united 5 small clubs of Razgrad. Our rival plays home matches at Huvepharma Arena with the capacity of 10 500 spectators. Main colors of the team are green and white. In 1997 the club merged with FC Antibiotic Razgrad and was renamed to FC Antibiotic-Ludogorets. In 2006 the club was defunct because of financial problems. In 2010 FC Razgrad 2000 inherited Ludogorets and gained right to play in High league. In the end of the season in recorded historical result and won championship, Cup and Super Cup. Ludogorets repeated the same victories in 2014 year.
Bulgarian team has won national championship for 9 times (2011/2012 – 2019/2020), Bulgarian cup for 2 times (2011/2012, 2013/2014) and Bulgarian Super Cup for 4 times (2012, 2014, 2018, 2019). It played on Champions League group stage twice in 2014/15 and 2016/17 years.
Lithuanian football specialist Valdas Dambrauskas is the head coach of the team since January 2021. Our rival leads the table with 39 points gained in 16 matches.
PFC Ludogorets is on camp in Turkey since January 10 and has played several matches. On January 20 it defeated FK TSC Bačka Topola with the score 2:1. On January 23 it played draw 2:2 with Shakhtar. On January 27 our rival defeated OFC Pirin - 2:0. On January 30 PFC Ludogorets defeated FC Dynamo Kyiv – 2:1 and on January 31 it lost with FC Akron Tolyatti – 1:2.
