Today is the birthday of Dinamo Tbilisi's veteran footballer, defender Shota Khinchagashvili. He was born in Dusheti in 1951. He played in Dinamo in 1970-1982. From 348 matches in Dinamo Tbilisi he scored 1 goal. Shota Khinchagashvili is the champion of Soviet championship in 1978, owner of silver medal in 1977 and four times prizeman (1971,1976 spring,1976 autumn, 1981). He is the owner of UEFA Cup of Cup's in 1981. Khinchagashvili is the two times owner of Crystal Cup in 1976 and 1979 and prizeman of Spartakiada in 1979. He played 11 matches in Soviet national team. Khinchagashvili was named among the 33 best players for five times. In 1986 he was the head of the team and in 1984 the head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi.
