On April 25, two Dinamo teams faced each other in the tenth round of Erovnuli Liga. The match, held at the Dinamo Arena, was interesting, tense, and entertaining.
The hosts gained the advantage from the very first minutes and did not let it go throughout the entire match, but couldn’t use scoring opportunities. In the very first minutes, Tsotne Berelidze's long-range shot caused danger, the ball was deflected by the visitors' goal post. Shortly after, Mate Vatsadze could not catch Saba Kharebashvili's dangerous pass, then Vakho Salia tried to escalate the episode, but to no avail. Batumi's goalkeeper saved Jaba Kankava's powerful shot on corner. The second half continued with the same scenario and with more rigidity. Batumi's rare counterattack ended with a penalty. The referee reviewed the controversial moment and did not change his mind. Blesa's shot put the rival team ahead on the 71st minute. The capital team increased its attacks even more, substitute Temo Odikadze hit a powerful shot from close range, but Luka Kharatishvili saved the opportunity. Nikoloz Kutateladze also had a chance to score, the forward went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but he was delayed and the shot also lost its accuracy. In another attack, on the 88th minute, the visitors' defender played with his hand in his own penalty area, and Tornike Morchiladze restored the difference from the penalty spot to 1-1. In the end, the match ended in a draw.
Vladimer Kakashvili's team will play their next match on April 29 in Tskaltubo, against the local FC Samgurali.
