FC Dinamo Tbilisi has not played an official international match with Israeli teams so far and the match against Maccabi Haifa will be the first.
As for the friendly matches, in 2016 Dinamo Tbilisi competed with Maccabi Haifa during the camp in Austria. Our teamwon the match 2-0 on June 29 in Bischofshofen. Giorgi Kvilitaia and Otar Kiteishvili scored goals.
At the end of 1989, Dinamo toured Israel and played four friendly matches. On November 28, Davit Kipiani's team won 1-0 against Maccabi Haifa with the goal of Temur Ketsbaia. The next day, Dinamo met Hapoel Nazareth and beat the opponent with a big score 5-1. Gia Jishkariani scored three goals. Giorgi Daraselia and Zaza Revishvili also scored.
