Spanish defender Victor Mongil and Slovak midfielder Philip Orshula left FC Dinamo Tbilisi. The existing contract between the team and the players was terminated. Our club wishes them success in their future career.
Victor Mongil responded to his leave with an emotional letter:
Hello Dinamo Tbilisi family,
Today is a very hard and difficult day for me, you know what you mean to me. I carry the Georgian people in my heart, a wonderful club that has allowed me to fulfill dreams that I never imagined to achieve, to live things that in football it is very difficult to achieve and with you I have been able to do it.
Thank you for excepting me, for helping me and treating me like another Georgian, you have always made me feel at home.
Unfortunately, because of private problems I had to leave the team and returned back to Spain. I asked the club bilateral termination of the contract.
The club is above everything and everyone and Dinamo Tbilisi has a lot to say and I can feel proud to be part of your history and to see all your successes.
Thanks to each member of the club, from the president, board of directors, executives, operators…. Thanks to the coaching staff for accepting me as I am, always betting on me and letting me represent the club in the way I know best, giving my 100% every day for the club. Thanks to my colleagues, I will miss you guys, you have always made me feel like one of your family and I take friends with you and you will surely succeed in your professional careers.
Hopefully we can meet soon, you are my home.
