Georgian U-17 national team, which competed in the qualifying round of the European Championship in Hungary, won a trip to the elite round. Although the young Crusaders lost 0-1 to Estonia in the third match of the group, the 4 points accumulated were enough to get to the second place in the group.
The Elite Round will take place in the spring, while Israel itself will host the European Championship from May 16 to June 1.
Georgian Dinamo players Tengo Gobeshia, Saba Kharchilava, Gabriel Sigua (team captain), Tengo Alibegashvili, Giorgi Partsvania, Akaki Giunashvili, Amin Karaev and Luka Parkadze played in Georgian national team at the tournament.
