Today Dinamo Tbilisi will hold the sixth match on the camp in Turkey. Our team will compete with the representative of the Danish Super League – Randers FC. The match will be held in Belek and will start at 17.30 Tbilisi time. Live coverage will be available on Setanta Sports TV channels, Facebook and Youtube platforms.
Randers Football Club was founded in 2003. The team appeared in the Danish Championship after collaborating with 6 Randers Clubs (Dronenborg Boldclub, Hornbach Sportsforning, Christrup Boldclub, Randers Freya, Randers Kfum and Worup Fredriksberg Boldclub). The club colors are blue and white. Our rival plays home matches on Randers Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,600 spectators.
Randers won the Danish Cup twice - in 2005/2006 and 2020/2021 seasons. For the first time our rival beat Esbjerg 1-0 (in extra time) and last year Randers defeated SonderjyskE 4-0. The team played another final in 2013, losing 0-1 to Esbjerg. Randers is considered to be the third place winner in the 2012/2013 season, the best achievement in the championship.
The Scandinavians have been training in Turkey since February 2. The day before, Randers had beaten Silberborough and won 1-0. On February 6, the team played friendly match against Ukrainian Alexandria and finished it with draw 2-2. Besides our team, Randers FC will compete with Arsenal Tula on February 12. Randers will then travel to England and face Leicester City in the Conference League play-offs on February 17.
Local football specialist Thomas Thomasberg is the head coach of Randers FC for the fourth season already.
